It really depends on what you're looking for. Bellew is winding up the bigger punches, but most of them are landing on Cleverly's arms, despite the cheers from the crowd in the distance. Cleverly takes it for me with his jab and the way he is able to stay on the front foot longer. Bellew looks a bit slow with his punches, and he may have some damage next to his right eye. Cleverly struggles to find his range and is backed up. The Welshman took charge of the middle of the ring well and dictated the tempo nicely.
Bellew couldnt' get his jab going, but did break through Cleverly's defences with a right hand late in the round.
As expected, Cleverly is looking to punch and move, and it works well enough to give him the round despite a late flurry from Bellew. Introductions complete and final instructions from the referee out of the way.
There is some atmosphere inside the Echo Arena for this one. Hold on to your hats! He comes out to Everton's theme music, wearing Everton's blue colours. Plenty of boos for Cleverly but he looks relaxed. Bellew gets a rather warmer welcome and looks rather pleased to finally be here.

Cleverly makes his way to the ring first and looked very relaxed, smiling on his way in. As expected, plenty of boos from the crowd with Bellew being the local man.
Darren Bent spotted in the crowd at the Echo Arena for the fight Coming up next is Cleverly against Bellew, and it should be brilliant. The referee should have stopped it even sooner, Joshua was teeing off on Sprott and the veteran took a few more punches than he should have. Joshua hardly threw a thing for the first part of the round as he just sized up Sprott, but when he did land a right hand, Sprott was on the ropes and there was now way back.
Sprott looked to be taking Joshua's shots ok with his high defence but once the Olympic champion unloaded on the ropes, it was game over. Onto the main event Can Michael Sprott last beyond the first round? He looks supremely relaxed and confident ahead of this clash against Michael Sprott and his physique is as impressive as ever. Sprott has been around and had plenty of experience, but this shouldn't be that big of a challenge for young Joshua. That may be on the generous side of fair, but even so he comes out of this with a knockout win.
The Londoner wants to be a world champion and he feels next year is the year. His promoter Kelle Sauerland is looking to make it happen soon for his man. Douglin was fading quick. He looked exhausted and was clinching up close on every occasion.
Groves sent him tumbling to the canvas with a sweet right hand and Douglin never recovered. The fight was stopped with seconds remaining in the seventh round. Not convincing from Groves, but he turned it around and came out with a win. Douglin beginning to blow hard and is starting to fade.
Good work from Groves and he looks to have taken over.
Let's also not forget that he is by far the bigger man against a man who has moved up from middleweight. That will have an impact in the latter half of this fight. Still, a lot closer than expected at the half-way stage. The Brit needs to measure his distance, select his shots and he should take this comfortably from here. Groves looking to box and pick his shots, but not with much joy. His work rate was the better, but Douglin had a good spell of pressure in the final minute. I still have Douglin two rounds ahead.

He is starting to get the better of the American however, much to the concern of his mum ringside. A convincing round from him. Moving well to avoid Douglin's punches, and putting his own combinations together very nicely. Douglin was threatened a number of times in that round and has noticeably taken a step back.
He has a cut across his nose and is getting caught time and time again by Douglin.

He is not connecting either at the other end. I have that three rounds to Douglin Douglin's mum cuts an anxious figure at ringside but her boy is performing well here and has Groves in trouble once again at the end of the round.
He is being caught as well and must be careful. Better work rate and more punches thrown from the London man, but I would still give that round to Douglin. Perhaps he feels that Douglin, who has operated at a lower weight doesn't have the power to trouble him but he ships to right hands in quick succession. Not much thrown by him and not much landed. Douglin probably stole the round for me with his work rate in the final minute. My score Groves first: The crowd haven't forgotten that, booing him when his name was announced.
He takes on Denis Douglin who is trained by his mum. She is in the corner wearing rather unsuitable high heels. Here comes George Groves Sakio Bika couldn't stop him. I was just getting warmed up and looking for that left hand over the top. That's my shot at the minute. On Froch, DeGale adds: I like him a respect him, but he doesn't want to fight me. An impressive win for James DeGale against a tough opponent who looked to be warming to the task.
He reached in for a punch once again, but this time connected perfectly with a left hand over the top. A terrific punch, and Periban didn't even take a count before the fight was stopped. DeGale is still reaching in with his punches and has to be careful he doesn't get picked off. Tight round, which I would just give to the Englishman. If the west Londoner boxes clever, he should be in for a comfortable night. At times he was a bit loose and wild and he will have to be careful he doesn't leave himself open later in the fight.
A good start, though. Hearn has urged the bitter rivals to keep their cool but admits to harbouring concerns about tensions boiling over. Asked if he would draft in extra security staff to ensure order, Hearn said: The mouth-watering contest headlines an impressive bill at Liverpool's Echo Arena, three years after their first fight. On that occasion, Cleverly narrowly defeated Bellew to retain his WBO light heavyweight title and has threatened to send the Scouser into retirement this time out.
